The inaugural edition of Journal of Facilitating Learning and Improving Performance (JFLIP), Volume 1 Issue 1 (2025), marks the beginning of the journal's commitment to disseminating high-quality scholarly works in the fields of learning, instructional technology, educational media, message design, and human performance improvement. This edition features 20 peer-reviewed articles contributed by 24 authors, all affiliated with Universitas Negeri Malang, reflecting the journal's initial priority as a publication platform for undergraduate and graduate students to communicate their academic research and scientific innovations. The published articles explore a wide range of contemporary educational topics, including cooperative and contextual learning models, flipped classroom, discovery learning, gamification, Learning Management Systems (LMS), multimedia learning, cognitive load theory, self-efficacy, digital interactive media, educational content analysis, systematic literature reviews, visual communication, artificial intelligence in educational design, and digital professional development. Collectively, these contributions demonstrate the growing capacity of student researchers to address current educational challenges through evidence-based inquiry and innovative instructional design, while reinforcing JFLIP's vision of fostering scholarly excellence and facilitating the advancement of learning and performance across diverse educational contexts.
