Abstract

In carrying out online arisan there is someone who organizes and manages the arisan, known as a dealer or arisan manager. Because online arisan is conducted online, managers and participants do not meet in person and don't even know each other, so problems are very prone to occur. The problems encountered were quite diverse, such as participants who did not pay their arisan contributions to criminal acts of fraud committed by online arisan managers. If there is a criminal act of fraud in an online social gathering activity that is attended by the public, usually the community will immediately report this to the police for further investigation. So that in this case the police, who also serve as one of the law enforcers, have an important role in preventing and resolving the problem of criminal acts of fraud committed by online gathering managers. In this study, the authors used normative juridical research, namely a legal research activity carried out by examining library materials or secondary materials so that research was carried out by examining library materials. The formulation of the problem included in this research is related to how are the law enforcement efforts carried out by the police against online gathering managers who commit criminal acts of fraud? and what are the obstacles or obstacles for the police in law enforcement efforts against managers who commit criminal acts of fraud? So the results of the study state that in an effort to enforce the law against perpetrators of online arisan fraud, the police make two enforcement efforts, namely preventive and repressive. In efforts to enforce the law, the police have several obstacles, both internal and external constraints.
